Duties and responsibilities

The Project Manager role is a senior level role within the business and holds commercial, financial and management responsibility as detailed below;

  • Project management of substation control system upgrades on high voltage substations

  • Management of a team of project engineers with around 10-20 live projects

  • Preparation and control of project programmes (utilising primavera)

  • Monthly reporting to client and senior management

  • Organisation and participation in Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests

  • Management of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver full engineering packs

  • Attendance and participation in commissioning panel meetings

  • Preparation of financial forecasts and maintenance of a P/L

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Experience;

  • Higher education qualification in an electrical discipline

My client is looking for experienced Rotary Drillers in the North East after securing a 4 year contract installing Groundsource Heat Pumps. This is a full time, permanent position with a potential start date in January 2017.  

Duties and responsibilities

  • Geo- environmental and geotechnical land drilling using rotary and percussive drilling rigs

  • Environmental and geotechnical sampling/testing

  • Rotary open hole drilling and rotary coring

  • Working with brand new machinery (Italian Manufacturer)

Qualifications

  • Experience installing Groundsource Heat pumps a distinct advantage

  • NVQ level 2 + in Rotary Drilling

  • 5+years working in Rotary Drilling
